STUDIO IQAAT

Iqaat (īqā‘āt) means "rhythms" in Arabic. Here, you will find information on various styles of North African, Arabic and Middle Eastern percussion.

Our goal is to:

• Combine the rhythms of Arabia and West Asia

• Present and educate about the musical culture of the Middle East and North Africa

• Spread the word about Arabic and Near Eastern music and culture in Los Angeles through events and classes
