Rope play & Conscious Kink Workshop

Focus will be on rope basics with D/s dynamics and tantra based concepts as well.   Beginners / Intermediate.

The only tie you will need to know is a single column tie that does not slip. One will be taught in class, this class is open to newcomers!

There is no nudity or sex play in this class.

The class will consist of the following:

- Intro / Consent / Negotiations / Safety

- Connecting with a partner to build intimacy, trust, and communication.

- Observational / Emotional Rope. Explore via rope: communicating, emotional connection and working to evoke or draw out various responses from your partner / rope bottom.

- Core practices around D/S play

Rope: Loaner rope will be available for use. You're welcome to bring your own rope and get feedback from the instructor. Jute is a common material. Rope should be 8 meters (about 26 feet) in length, anything longer will be difficult to work with for ties in this class. Donavon Lerman has been studying Tantra (Classical & Neo) with various teachers, Rope Play (Shibari) with the Devil Mask Society, has gone through John Wineland’s Embodied Men’s Leadership Training (EMLT),  and Advanced Practice Group (APG) programs. He has studied polarity and embodiment with Michaela Boehm and is certified through her as a facilitator in The Non-Linear Movement Method® (NLM) and The Intimacy and Attraction Workshop®.  He is also Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of California for over ten years via Hands on Healing Institute.
